How to export orders from NuORDER
The Order PDF is the best file to use from NuORDER, and the Excel export works as a backup. Drop either one on the Import page and review it before anything goes into Heartland Retail.
What you'll need
- A NuORDER retailer account with the order you want to import
- NuORDER open in a desktop browser
- A BoutiqueOS account with Import, connected to Heartland Retail
Step by step
Best option: the Order PDF
Open the order in NuORDER
Sign in at nuorder.com and open the order you want to import.
Open the More Actions (⋯) menu
It’s on the order page.
Choose Download Order PDF
The PDF saves to your computer.
Drop it on the Import page
In BoutiqueOS, go to Import → Import Orders and drop the PDF. Review the order, then confirm to import.
Backup: the Excel export
Choose Download Order XLS
From the same More Actions (⋯) menu.
Download the export when it’s ready
Click Click here to download your order form export, then the download arrow once it's ready.
Check colors on the review page. The Excel export can be missing details the PDF has, such as color.
Troubleshooting
"We recognized this file but couldn’t read it"
NuORDER probably changed their layout. That one is on us: we’re alerted automatically and fix these quickly. If you need the order in today, try the Excel export and check colors and line items on the review page.
Retail prices are missing
Set them with the markup tool on the review page before you import.
