How to Export Orders from Faire

Download your Faire purchase orders as Excel files, then upload them to BoutiqueOS to automatically create products and purchase orders in your POS system.

What you'll need

  • A Faire retailer account with placed orders
  • Access to Faire on a desktop computer
  • A BoutiqueOS account with Orders

Step-by-Step Export

1

Log in to Faire

Go to faire.com and sign in with your retailer account.

Go to your Orders

Click on your Orders page. You can find this in the top navigation or your account menu. You'll see all your orders organized by status.

3

Find the order you want to export

Locate the specific brand order you want to import. Faire organizes orders by brand, so each brand you ordered from will be a separate order.

Pro tip: Focus on orders with status Confirmed or Shipped. Orders still in "Pending" may change before they're finalized.
4

Open the order details

Click into the order to see the full breakdown of items, quantities, sizes, colors, and pricing.

5

Export as Excel

Look for the Export or Download option on the order page. Select Excel (.xlsx) format. The file will download to your computer.

Important: Download the Excel (.xlsx) format, not PDF. BoutiqueOS needs the spreadsheet data to read your products.
6

Verify the export

Open the downloaded file to confirm it has the data you expect. Faire exports should include a Brand Order ID column — this is how BoutiqueOS identifies it as a Faire export.

Key columns BoutiqueOS looks for: "Brand Order ID" (identifier), plus product name, color, size, wholesale price, and retail price columns.
7

Upload to BoutiqueOS

Log in to app.boutiqueos.ai, go to Orders → Import Orders, and drag your file onto the upload area. BoutiqueOS will automatically detect it as a Faire export and parse all your order data.

Troubleshooting

I can't find the Export button

The export option may be under a "More" or "..." menu on the order page. If you still can't find it, try accessing Faire from a desktop browser — the mobile app may not support exports.

Retail prices are missing

Some Faire exports only include the wholesale price. If retail price is missing, BoutiqueOS will automatically calculate it using a 2.2x markup. You can adjust this on the review screen before importing.

Ship dates look wrong

Faire sometimes formats dates differently than expected. BoutiqueOS handles common date formats automatically. If you see an issue with dates on the review screen, you can manually adjust them before importing.

File not recognized

BoutiqueOS identifies Faire exports by the "Brand Order ID" column. If your file doesn't have this column, it may be a different export format. Email the file to kevin@releasepoint.ai and we'll take a look.

Ready to import?

Once you've exported your order, head to BoutiqueOS to upload it.
